    PUZZLES:

    The easy answer is because we love puzzles & games, but it is more than that.

    Through puzzles we learn & grow. Every time you solve a puzzle or take a step closer to discovering the solution you are overcoming a challenge.

    This is a challenge you impose upon yourself, not because it is forced, but because you want to improve and acheive more.

    What may seem like a random assortment of wood is actually a path to improving your mental health & sense of confidence.

    We take pride in creating new pathways, reintroducing old avenues, & forming lasting experiences.

    Fred is adopted or perhaps he adopted us? Either way he makes sure everyone is working hard and we love his furry face.

    AKA My brother. He makes sure the shop is running, runs the laser machines, makes puzzles, & runs the CNC Machine.

  8. Why do we love what we do?

    GAMES:

    Growing up we always played games. Family game nights were the best nights.

    The simple activity of sitting around a table with a game brought us closer as a family.

    My brothers and I still bring up times from 20-25 years ago & laugh about how much fun we had playing games.

    With Creative Crafthouse we want future generations to experience this as well.

    No batteries required.

    This is why we offer a diverse selection of games. From our own design (Penny Drop), classics (Cribbage), to historical (Nine Men Morris). These aren't just games, they are shared experiences.

    Justin is the heart and soul of the laser machine room. He keeps the puzzles pieces flowing for the rest of the shop to work on.

    Kevin is in charge of packaging and shipping. He makes sure your puzzle gets to where it needs to go.

  11. Meet my Mom!

    AKA Deb, she & my brother run the show at Creative Crafthouse. She handles all of the day to day activities & assembles puzzles.

Creative Crafthouse is a family owned and operated business started in 2001 by Dave Janelle. Over the years two of his sons, wife, cousin, and daughter in law have joined the Creative Crafthouse team. Together along with a dedicated crew we design and create unique high quality games and puzzles in our Hudson FL shop. We use state of the art laser machines, CNC machines, and traditional wood working techniques when crafting our brain teasers and games.

Our Puzzles Are Handmade In Our Hudson, Florida Shop

Each one of our puzzles is handcrafted here in our shop. We use various hardwoods when making our brain teasers and games such as cherry, maple, walnut, alder, baltic birch, mahogany, hickory, red grandis, and ash. This gives our puzzles a unique look and feel you will not find anywhere else.

We combine various techniques and skills to create our one of a kind puzzles, games, and brainteasers

Laser Machines

Our laser machines are at the heart of most everything we do. They enable us to create incredibly detailed and precise puzzle pieces which would otherwise not be possible. Some examples are:

Our Team Leader Stephen

Stephen is our beloved shop dog. He is a golden lab whom Phil and Laura Janelle adopted in 2019. Whenever someone is having a bad day he is there to make them feel better and provide some love. He is our furry team leader.
